This Hive Tool is the basic standard hive tool that most beekeepers use. The 10 Inch Hive Tool is made of steel. It has a flat blade that makes an excellent pry bar for removing frames and separating supers and has a notch for removing nails. The opposite end is bent at a ninety-degree angle and makes an excellent scrape for removing burr comb and propolis. The bright red color makes it easy to locate if dropped in leaves or grass.
